Privacy

The short version

We do not ask you to create an account, we do not sell data, and we do not run advertising trackers. We measure readership with Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, and in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it stores nothing unless you agree.

Who is responsible

3AM Marketer is the controller for personal data collected through this site. Contact ops@3ammarketer.com for anything on this page, including requests about your data.

What we collect

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records requests, including IP addresses, for security and reliability, and retains them on its own schedule.
  • Readership analytics. Google Analytics records pages viewed, how you arrived, device and browser type and approximate location, to tell us what readers use. Google processes it for us; we do not use it for advertising.
  • Email you send us. Kept only as long as needed to deal with it.

We do not collect names, accounts, payment details or advertising identifiers.

Cookies and consent

We set no advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies outside the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Inside those regions analytics storage is off by default and no analytics cookies are set unless you consent. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict processing, receive it in a portable form, opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and complain to your data protection authority. Email ops@3ammarketer.com and we will respond within the period your law requires. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

India: Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

3AM Marketer Pvt Ltd is based in India and is the Data Fiduciary for personal data processed through this site. As a Data Principal you may ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed, ask for it to be corrected, completed, updated or erased, nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated, and raise a grievance with us. Send any of these to ops@3ammarketer.com; it is also our grievance contact. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

International transfers

This site is hosted and operated internationally, so data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, the European Union and India, under appropriate safeguards.

Children

This site is for working professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
